These areas have operational requirements, submissions and measures a permit holder must follow during hydraulic fracturing operations.<\/span><\/span><\/p><p style=\"margin:7 0 7 0;\"><span><span>The BCER has made enhancements to the Seismic Monitoring Area Special Project Orders focused on induced seismicity (IS) from hydraulic fracturing operations involving horizontal, multi-stage fracturing in a well in northeast B.C. Within these special project order areas permit holders are required to submit induced seismicity pre-assessment reports and monitor for seismicity during operations.
