Service Description: The original SCHOOLS_NEBC_PT (BC Schools) feature class is a combination of the StrongStart BC Centre Locations - BC Geographic Warehouse and BC Schools - K-12 with Francophone Indicators - BC Geographic Warehouse. In November 2024 this dataset was expanded beyond the initial School District 59, 60 and 61 schools that was originally created for Northeast British Columbia in 2014 where Oil and Gas exploration activities are primarily centered.
Please note that school locations are provided and maintained by the Ministry of Education and Child Care. The locations may be approximate, as they are based on the best available information.
